The story of Joey and Cody is a continuation of the bond they formed in the book Joey the little duckling, the egg Molly left behind. In this story, Joey, the duckling, is growing up and              discovering his environment. He and the family dog, Cody, became partners in their adventures. It was a great day as they waited patiently for the boys to be home for summer break.
With school out for the summer, the three brothers start playing baseball, and join a summer baseball team, Joey and Cody get into the game when they are at home practicing. Not in a good way. Cody would steal the ball while Joey would distract them.
They had a lot of adventures together when the family was away.
                     Some good, some not so good.
                 It’s about the lessons learned, right?
