The story of Joey and Cody is a continuation of the bond they formed in the book Joey the little duckling, the egg Molly left behind. In this story Joey is growing up and discovering his environment.
With school out for the summer the three brothers start playing baseball, and join a summer baseball team Joey and Cody get into the game when they are at home practicing.  Joey and Cody have a lot of free time together when the boys are at their games. They have a lot of adventures together.
 Some good, some not so good.   It’s about the lessons learned, right?
